Laing '25 was a poet, novelist and Professor of Belles Letters at the College. This award has been funded in recent years by friends of Film and Media Studies. The winners will receive cash prizes, which will be given at the Hopkins Center Award Ceremony in May. There are two categories. One for Feature scripts (~95-120 pages long), one for Short Scripts (~8 to 20 pages long). There may be more than one winner in each category. Primary consideration will be given to a subject's potential as effective movie material and how well the writer can convey that potential in a shootable script. All manuscripts must be typed and submitted in triplicate on three-hole punched paper, fastened with two or three brads. Name of writer should appear on the title page only. (The Film and Media Studies Department Office can supply a 3-hole punch and brads.) Submitted manuscripts must be received by Film Studies in a box for this purpose outside Cheryl Coutermarshs office in the Visual Arts Center by 4:00PM on Friday May 1, 2015. No late submissions will be accepted. Note that if you are off-campus, you may send in a .pdf file of your script to HYPERLINK "mailto:william.f.phillips@dartmouth.edu" william.f.phillips@dartmouth.edu by that same deadline (he will not be a judge). The Awards Ceremony will be June 3 this year. [Note that ALL Dartmouth Undergraduates as well as those who graduated last spring are eligible. This is partly because most seniors were still writing their feature-length scripts when the deadline arrived.] (/5VXvH R f t ! # 5 6 k l m n I J c ݵtth45>*B*phh h45>*B*phhD3h456>*B*phh5>*B*phhmh45B*phhmh45>*B*phhD3h45hg#h45 h845 h45hmh45h45>*CJ h845CJ h45CJh4-03Vuv[ \ l m * = K N < = P p r s t ܴܥ܏wkYUP h4>*h4#h4h!5B*CJ\aJphh!5B*CJphh#!,5B*CJphhpmh40J5CJ+jhpmh45B*CJUphhD3h45B*CJphjh45B*CJUphh845B*CJphh5B*CJphh45B*CJphhmh45B*CJphhmh452P/ =!"#$% DpDyK !william.f.phillips@dartmouth.eduyK Pmailto:william.f.phillips@dartmouth.edu666666666vvvvvvvvv666666>6666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666hH6666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666666662 0@P`p2( 0@P`p 0@P`p 0@P`p 0@P`p 0@P`p 0@P`p8XV~OJQJ_HmH nH sH tH <`< NormalCJ_HmH sH tH DA D Default Paragraph FontZi@Z Table Normal :V 4 l4a _H(k (No List 6U`6 D30 Hyperlink >*B*phPK!pO[Content_Types].xmlj0Eжr(΢]yl#!MB;.n̨̽\A1&ҫ QWKvUbOX#&1`RT9<l#$>r `С-;c=1g~'}xPiB$IO1Êk9IcLHY<;*v7'aE\h>=^,*8q;^*4?Wq{nԉogAߤ>8f2*<")QHxK |]Zz)ӁMSm@\&>!7;wP3[EBU`1OC5VD Xa?p S4[NS28;Y[꫙,T1|n;+/ʕj\\,E:! t4.T̡ e1 }; [z^pl@ok0e g@GGHPXNT,مde|*YdT\Y䀰+(T7$ow2缂#G֛ʥ?q NK-/M,WgxFV/FQⷶO&ecx\QLW@H!+{[|{!KAi `cm2iU|Y+ ި [[vxrNE3pmR =Y04,!&0+WC܃@oOS2'Sٮ05$ɤ]pm3Ft GɄ-!y"ӉV . `עv,O.%вKasSƭvMz`3{9+e@eՔLy7W_XtlPK! ѐ'theme/theme/_rels/themeManager.xml.relsM 0wooӺ&݈Э5 6?$Q ,.aic21h:qm@RN;d`o7gK(M&$R(.1r'JЊT8V"AȻHu}|$b{P8g/]QAsم(#L[PK-!pO[Content_Types].xmlPK-!֧6 -_rels/.relsPK-!kytheme/theme/themeManager.xmlPK-!!Z!theme/theme/theme1.xmlPK-! ѐ'( theme/theme/_rels/themeManager.xml.relsPK]# <sX8@0( B S ?t!$ Y::: $n#!,7JtOz+84!4@Lzp@UnknownG*Ax Times New Roman5Symbol3 *Cx ArialYM New YorkTimes New RomanA$BCambria Math"A) 3- 3؃& !;23; ?L2 , Bill Phillipssetup Oh+'0x ( 4 @ LX`hp'Bill Phillips Normal.dotmsetup4Microsoft Macintosh Word@G@pNt@~{hhT@hT ՜.+,D՜.+,< hp 'Dartmouth College Title 8@ _PID_HLINKS'AF(mailto:william.f.phillips@dartmouth.edu !#$%&'()+,-./014Root Entry Fc iT6Data 1TablexWordDocument4SummaryInformation("DocumentSummaryInformation8*CompObj` F Microsoft Word 97-2004 DocumentNB6WWord.Document.8
